A former Lufkin Panther, Chris serves as one of our pitching instructors. He was selected in the 4th round of the 1991 MLB draft by the Atlanta Braves an opted to pursue his professional baseball career instead of accepting a scholarship to Mississippi State. Over a span of 13 years, Chris played for notable teams such as the Atlanta Braves, Florida Marlins, Seattle Mariners, and the Nippon-HAM Fighters in the Japanese Major League Baseball. Drawing from his extensive experience, Chris imparts invaluable knowledge to aspiring young pitchers across East Texas, guiding them toward achieving their aspirations in baseball at the highest level.
